New Year tid-bits

Well folks, January is well upon us, and like it or not, we're in the dead of winter. For us here in Oregon, that means rain and clouds...along with spring break, Thanksgiving, and sometimes the 4th :). But anyway, I couldn't resist sharing a few items from our world this Winter. Jubie and I both longed for some sun...SO, I found a great package, really, it was cheap, and took the whole family down to Orange County for New Years. Jubie hadn't bled for a while, her pregnancy seems stable (if you didn't know, she's pregnant. And no, we don't know what it is), so we took the 2 hr flight. See more on our family blog...

But I'll give you a snippet
here. We even took in the Rose Parade with Robert and Kei!! It was lots of fun, and I'm happy to report Robert now lives above the level of a kitty box!! Rob and Kei are so cute together. It's fun to see.

Oh...and you've GOT to see the sunset we witnessed @ Huntington Beach!
! Truly AMAZING.

And in the end, this is why I love the beach. Hard not to smile when you see this...

As Kate mentioned, she enjoys playing with iTunes...well now that we've completely converted to Mac's I do the same. I recently found lots of fun exploring music from my childhood. Admittedly, I realized much of my early music was influenced by Robert. So, along with Styx, Crosby-Stills-Nash & Young, and ELO, I threw in some old Chicago, Eric Clapton (I shot the sheriff), Rush, and some CC&R. The mix is so much fun and It wouldn't be without iTunes. Plus, my boys LOVE it. Just for fun....see this.

Gotta love Kai's dance moves. I think we all have memories of dancing to Styx--"Come, Sail Away" right?

Your kids have moves! It's nice to know that you have left the dark side and entered the glorious world of macs!

Bring on the chocolate milk, spaghetti-os and check to see if mom is home, because we are rocking tonight! Loved it. Made me miss you James.
